Fatal industrial accident

A 37-year-old employee at Foley Inc. was struck by a steam roller this morning

On Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 10:07 a.m., Bensalem Police responded to Foley Inc., located at 2975 Galloway Road, for an industrial accident inside a garage bay. It was determined that a 37-year-old employee (name not being released at this time) was working on an asphalt milling machine when he was struck by a steam roller that was being operated by a separate employee.

The victim was transported by Bensalem EMS to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. OSHA was contacted and responded to investigate the accident. The deceased will be transported to the Philadelphia Medical Examiner’s Office. At this time, there does not appear to be anything criminal regarding the incident.
