Homestead Real Estate Tax Rebate now available for Warrington residents

The purpose is to give some financial relief to eligible property owners in the township

After months of study, the Warrington Township board of supervisors has adopted the Homestead Real Estate Tax Rebate Program.

Applications can be found on the township’s website at warringtontownship.org/departments/administration/finance-department/. Applications can also be obtained at the Township Administration Department, 852 Easton Road, Warrington, or at the office of the Tax Collector, 3400 Pickertown Road, Chalfont.

“The board of supervisors has adopted the Homestead Real Estate Tax Rebate Program in order to give some financial relief to eligible property owners in Warrington,” said Fred Gaines, chairman of the board of supervisors.

Any resident who already receives the Central Bucks School District Homestead Exemption will automatically receive Warrington’s exemption and does not need to complete the Homestead Exemption application. Those residents who do not currently have the Central Bucks School District Homestead Exemption can find the application online or pick up the forms at the Township Administration office.

Applications must be returned to Warrington Township by Oct. 31.
