St. Mary named a “Best Hospital” in Pennsylvania by U.S. News & World Report

The Langhorne facility is one of 27 hospitals recognized in the state

St. Mary Medical Center was ranked as the 18th “Best Hospital” in Pennsylvania by U.S. News & World Report in its recently revealed 2019-2020 rankings. Of the 239 hospitals in Pennsylvania evaluated by U.S. News, St. Mary is one of 27 hospitals recognized on the list of “Best Hospitals” in the state.

In the rankings, St. Mary was listed as high performing in four specialties – chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), heart failure, hip replacement and knee replacement. St. Mary was also cited for being excellent in discharging patients.

Additionally, St. Mary was ranked No. 11 on the list of “Best Hospitals” in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. This metro area includes Camden, New Jersey and Wilmington, Delaware.

U.S. News & World Report, the global authority in hospital rankings, evaluated more than 4,500 medical centers nationwide in 25 specialties, procedures and conditions. In rankings by state and metro area, U.S. News recognized hospitals as high performing across multiple areas of care.
