Genealogy Workshop takes place Sept. 4 at 10:30 a.m. Susan Koelble, a professional genealogist, will lead a workshop on genealogical research and assist attendees with their own research. This workshop is held every first Wednesday of the month. Register online or by phone.

Color Your Way to Serenity takes place Sept. 5 and 19, at 1 p.m. This is an adult coloring program. Come meet your new best friend while enjoying tea and treats.
Tamanend Park Day takes place Sept. 7 at 11 a.m. Join the library and the Upper Southampton Parks & Recreation department in celebrating the great outdoors. The library will have a story stroll set up around the paved path and will offer a special story time with Ms. Heather at 11:15 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. Other activities include a hayride, bounce obstacle course and petting zoo. Music and Motion with Ms. Nancy takes place Monday, Sept. 9-30, at 10:30 a.m. Ages birth and up are invited to sing, dance and move with Ms. Nancy, a professional music teacher experienced in parent-child music programs. This is a walk-in program until full.

Adult Sensory Story Time takes place Sept. 12 at 10:30 a.m. Join the library for some stories and a fun craft. This program is for adults with varying abilities. Register online.
Weekend Walks Tamanend Park takes place Sept. 14 at 10 a.m. Explore the Pennypack Trail, continue through Upper Southampton and eventually reach Tamanend Park. Learn a little about the history of the park. The walk is approximately two miles. Meet at the Tamanend Park Tennis Court parking lot, 1255 2nd Street Pike, Southampton, at 10 a.m.
Trails and Tales Adoption Event takes place Sept. 14 at 11 a.m. Meet your new best friend at this event sponsored by the Upper Southampton Parks & Recreation department. Check out food trucks and vendors and meet some adoptable animals from local animal rescues. Story Tails Reading Program with the Women’s Animal Center takes place Sept. 19 at 6 p.m. Come help socialize a friendly, adoptable shelter animal by reading to them. While waiting for your turn to read, explore the library and make treats for the shelter animals. This is a walk-in program.
What’s Cooking at the Library: Cheesecake! takes place Sept. 21 at 2 p.m. Join the library for a baking demonstration and tasting of a simple, very light cheesecake. This recipe is a family recipe. Tips will be passed along that will make it a future favorite. Register for this fun, instructive class online or by phone.
Pub Trivia at Moss Mill Brewing Co. takes place Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. Join the library at Moss Mill Brewing, 109 Pike Circle, Unit D, Huntingdon Valley, for a drink and trivia. Show off your general trivia knowledge. No special themed knowledge is required. All ages are welcome.
