Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks County is gearing up for one of its signature events to benefit children facing adversity in Bucks County – Golf Fore Kids’ Sake.
Scheduled to take place, rain or shine, on Monday, Sept. 9 at the Doylestown Country Club, 20 Country Lane, this highly-anticipated event invites golfers to join BBBSBC staff, local dignitaries, former Eagles and Phillies players, as well as other local sports celebrities, for a fun day beginning with breakfast and concluding with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Of course, some golf will be played in between meals, rubbing elbows with sports personalities and drinks.
Cost for an individual golfer is $250, and foursomes are available for $1,000. Proceeds go toward helping the children of Bucks County who are involved with the organization’s programs.
Registration begins at 10 a.m., with shotgun starting at 11 a.m. Special hole-in-one contest prizes include a trip for two to Las Vegas, Nevada or a trip for two to the 2020 U.S. Open in Queens, New York.
