Penn Community Bank recently served as a sponsor of the YMCA of Bucks County 2019 Kids Triathlon. Held annually each year in Doylestown, the event on Aug. 4 attracted hundreds of participants from across Bucks County and the surrounding communities.
“We are honored to join our Doylestown community in support of the Y Kids Triathlon,” said Todd R. Hurley, Penn Community Bank chief relationship officer. “The event is a wonderful program that works to strengthen local youth development by encouraging a healthy lifestyle for kids.”
With swimming, biking and running segments, the Kids Triathlon featured five age groupings – ages 3 to 5, 6 to 7, 8 to 9, 10 to 11 and 12 to 14. All entrants received a race bib and T-shirt, and finishers received a medal.
