Concert: Free summer music concerts will take place on Wednesdays at Monument Bank Amphitheater Central Park, 425 Wells Road in Doylestown, at 7 p.m. This week, Houston Bernard Band (country) will perform. Flower Show: The Trevose Horticultural Society is staging its annual standard flower show Birds of a Feather on Friday, Aug. 16, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 17, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at St. Ephrem Catholic Church, 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem. Enjoy this opportunity to see the animals up close and ask questions about the scaly friends who live inside the Visitors’ Building. Code Club: The Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library, 680 Radcliffe St. in Bristol, is hosting Code Club, a STEM educational series for children in grades 2 through 8. The club will meet from 5:30 to 7 p.m. weekly. Students in grades 2-4 will meet on Mondays, and grades 5-8 will meet on Tuesdays. Using Prenda software, children will learn how to code in Blocky, JavaScript, HTML/CSS and Python and to build websites, video games, apps and more. Registration is required.
