Bucks County Quilt Show: The 15th Annual Bucks County Quilt Show is on display at the Bucks County Visitor Center, 3207 Street Road in Bensalem, weekdays through September. Free Healthcare Training: Bucks County Community College and PA CareerLink is seeking unemployed or underemployed Bucks County residents to apply for a healthcare certificate program. Training is free for those who meet eligibility requirements. Programs offered include Dental Assisting, EKG Technician Hybrid, Nurse Aide Certification and Pharmacy Technician. Tracking Wild Animals: This event will take place at Silver Lake Nature Center, 1306 Bath Road in Bristol, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Wild animals leave behind signs that give us clues to their behaviors. During this expedition, participants will learn how to examine animal signs and even how to make a plaster cast of a footprint to take home. Cost is $3. All ages welcome. Magic: the Gathering: Comic Archive, 319 W. Main St. in Lansdale, hosts this event at 2 p.m. This classic family-friendly card game enhances strategic thinking and skills while teaching good sportsmanship. Admission is free. Code Club: The Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library, 680 Radcliffe St. in Bristol, is hosting Code Club, a STEM educational series for children in grades 2 through 8. The club will meet from 5:30 to 7 p.m. weekly. Students in grades 2-4 will meet on Mondays, and grades 5-8 will meet on Tuesdays. Using Prenda software, children will learn how to code in Blocky, JavaScript, HTML/CSS and Python and to build websites, video games, apps and more. Registration is required. Participants are invited to bring their own laptop or Chromebook to each session. A limited number of library Chromebooks will be available to use.
