Concert: Free summer music concerts will take place on Wednesdays at Monument Bank Amphitheater Central Park, 425 Wells Road in Doylestown, at 7 p.m. This week, Jersey Beach Boys will perform. Free Healthcare Training: Bucks County Community College and PA CareerLink are seeking unemployed or underemployed Bucks County residents to apply for a healthcare certificate program. Training is free for those who are eligibile. Programs offered include Dental Assisting, EKG Technician Hybrid, Nurse Aide Certification and Pharmacy Technician. Bucks County Quilt Show: The 15th Annual Bucks County Quilt Show is on display at the Bucks County Visitor Center, 3207 Street Road in Bensalem, weekdays through September. Story Tails Reading Program: This event will take place at Lower Southampton Library, 1983 Bridgetown Pike, Feasterville, at 6 p.m. Help socialize a friendly, adoptable shelter animal by reading to them. Flower Pounding: This event will take place at Silver Lake Nature Center, 1306 Bath Road in Bristol, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Learn how to extract beautiful colors from plants and flowers through an easy, fun process. Party Like It’s 1969: Moon Landing!: This event will take place at Lower Southampton Library, 1983 Bridgetown Pike, Feasterville, at 10:30 a.m. Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing with videos of the actual landing. There will be 1960s-style foods like fondue and Jello molds and Tang to drink. Enjoy moon crafts and activities. Magic: the Gathering: Comic Archive, 319 W. Main St. in Lansdale, hosts this event at 2 p.m. This classic family-friendly card game enhances strategic thinking and skills while teaching good sportsmanship. Admission is free. Code Club: The Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library, 680 Radcliffe St. in Bristol, is hosting Code Club, a STEM educational series for children in grades 2 through 8. The club will meet from 5:30 to 7 p.m. weekly. Students in grades 2-4 will meet on Mondays, and grades 5-8 will meet on Tuesdays. Using Prenda software, children will learn how to code in Blocky, JavaScript, HTML/CSS and Python and to build websites, video games, apps and more. Registration is required. Participants are invited to bring their own laptop or Chromebook to each session. A limited number of library Chromebooks will be available to use. Family Fun Days: The Bucks County Family Service Center, a ministry of Catholic Social Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, is hosting Family Fun Days on Tuesdays throughout the summer. All Family Fun Days are open to the public and take place at 10 a.m. at the Fatima Catholic Outreach Center, 2915 Street Road in Bensalem. Events include “Family Cooking with Shara Aaron,” registered dietitian at St. Mary Medical Center, on July 23; “Family Literacy Day with Pat,” librarian with the Bensalem branch of the Bucks County Free Library, on Aug. 6; and “Back to School Safety” on Aug. 20.
