Concerts: The David Kim Orchestral Institute of Cairn University will present two concerts: Wednesday, June 19, at 7 p.m. for a program featuring members of the Philadelphia Orchestra, the American String Quartet, the Pittsburgh Symphony, Seoul National University, the Saint Louis Symphony, the Chicago Symphony and the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra; and Friday, June 21, at 7 p.m., will feature students selected by David Kim. The program will feature works by Mozart, Barber, Sibelius, Brahms, Paganini and more. Cost is $25. Purchase tickets at cairn.edu/tickets. Resource Day: The Bucks County Opportunity Council is hosting a Resource Day at its Opportunity Center, 721 Veterans Highway in Bristol. Staff will be on hand from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. to assist with applications for a variety of services including rent and property tax rebates, vouchers for free produce, monthly food boxes for seniors and weatherization. No appointments needed. PECO has donated 100 fans that will be given out to visitors. White Nights: Russian Opera: Adult opera buffs will have an opportunity to view, analyze and discuss Russian operas when the KleinLife: Montgomery County Dr. Gabriel & Alma Elias Center, at 7763 Old York Road, Elkins Park, begins an eight-part Lifelong Learning series entitled White Nights: Russian Opera. The series will be led by Gerald Tremblay, an opera aficionado, professor and psychotherapist, on Thursdays from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m., starting June 20. Code Club: The Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library, 680 Radcliffe St. in Bristol, is hosting Code Club, a STEM educational series for children in grades 2 through 8.
