Visit Churchville Nature Center on June 16 at 2 p.m. for a Lenape public tour. Learn about the cooking methods used in the 1500’s. Attendees will make their own corn bread, pounding corn from a kernel into corn meal and then into biscuit form.
Different foods will be cooking during the event so participants can see, smell and taste as it was 500 years ago.
The guided tour departs from the visitor desk. Cost is $8 per person, children under 3 are free.
Churchville Nature Center is located at 501 Churchville Lane. For more information, visit churchvillenaturecenter.org or call 215-357-4005.
