Digital Photography Series – Cell Phone Photographs takes place June 10 at 7 p.m. Learn how to take better cell phone photographs with a professional photographer, get the exposure and composition right, use the light in front of you, enhance the color of photos and more.
Cookbook Club – Instant Pot Edition takes place June 12 at 6 p.m. Eat and discuss recipes made with the Instant Pot.
Thursday Morning Movie Club takes place June 13 at 11 a.m. Enjoy a showing of Bohemian Rhapsody and free coffee.
Beginning June 15, the library will host its annual Summer Quest event for children and teens ages 0-18. Participants complete quests that encourage learning and exploration such as writing a letter to a member of the International Space Station, or following a recipe to make dessert. Those who complete quests will be eligible for prizes, including a free book to keep.
Summer Quest events will take place throughout the summer, beginning with a kickoff on Saturday, June 15 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Families will enjoy a Giant Game Day with oversized games and activities, and be able to sign up for Summer Quest. Other planned events include live animal shows, 3D pen activities and space-themed events, including a planetarium show.
