The St. Mary Medical Center Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery Program has announced its next information session for people interested in learning more about surgical options and finding out if bariatric surgery is the right choice for them.
“Bariatric weight loss surgery information sessions help patients continue to live the life they want,” said Keith A. Kreitz, MD, the program’s medical director and a board-certified bariatric surgeon. “While mandatory for all prospective bariatric patients, the session provides patients with information on different procedures at St. Mary, qualifications for surgery and nutrition.”
Kreitz added that the information sessions often help people develop a better understanding of what life will be like before, during and after the transformative surgery.
The information session will be from 6 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5. The event will take place in the Medical Staff Office Conference Room at St. Mary Medical Center, located at 1201 Langhorne-Newtown Road, Langhorne. The conference room is located on the first floor by the parking garage at the rear of the St. Mary campus.
The information session is free of charge, but registration is required as seating is limited. To find out more, call 215-710-5711 or visit stmaryhealthcare.org/bariatrics
