Anti-Bullying Workshop: The Peace Center will host a free workshop to address the issues of workplace bullying in the historic Richardson House at 102 W. Maple Ave., Langhorne, at 7 p.m. The workshop is appropriate for employers and small business owners, as well as employees. The workshop is designed to help people in the workplace who either witness bullying or are targets themselves. Business owners will learn how to promote a positive workplace culture. Presenters will demonstrate the importance of sending a strong message that aggressive behavior will not be tolerated. Great Books Discussion Group: This Langhorne/Newtown/Yardley-based group meets in a private home on alternate Wednesdays. Bucks County Genealogical Society Meeting: This event will take place from 10 a.m. to noon at the David Library of the American Revolution, 1201 River Road, Washington Crossing. Professional genealogist Dean Henry will present “African American Genealogy.” He’ll cover the common research “brick wall” challenging many African-American descendants of formerly enslaved ancestors, and ways to overcome it. Plant Swap: Southampton Free Library, at 947 Street Road, Southampton, is hosting a plant swap from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Participants can drop off plants beginning Thursday, May 30, and receive VIP tickets to gain early access from 10 to 11 a.m. on the day of the swap. Code Club: The Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library, 680 Radcliffe St. in Bristol, is hosting Code Club, a STEM educational series for children in grades 2 through 8.
