Help out in the Butterfly House this summer
Churchville Nature Center’s Butterfly House is opening again this summer, and CNC is looking for volunteers to be docents and help with the rearing and caring of the butterflies. Gardeners are also needed for the up-keep of the plants in the Butterfly House. There will be training.
Those interested should email naturalist Bill Woodroffe at [email protected].
Individuals are needed for this year’s summer camp
Churchville Nature Center is seeking volunteer assistant counselors for its summer camp program. Sessions begin on June 24 and run until Aug. 30. The program takes place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays.
Volunteers will not only make an enormous contribution to CNC, they’ll learn skills and enhance their education. CNC offers a safe, positive environment where volunteers can socialize with other youth, all of whom share a mutual interest in the environment.
Must be ages 14 and up. Those interested should call Peg Mongillo at 215–357–4005, ext. 5036 or visit ChurchvilleNatureCenter.org for an application.
