The market, located at KleinLife, offers fresh vegetables and fruits weekly through Thanksgiving

KleinLife, located at 10100 Jamison Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia, opened its seasonal Farmers Market, which features fresh vegetables and fruits for sale every Tuesday, from noon to 2:30 p.m. through Thanksgiving.
Much of the fresh produce offered is grown onsite by RSVP Philadelphia farmers and volunteers in its own hoop houses. Other fresh items are sourced through a nonprofit cooperative, which uses food from area farms.

Proceeds from sales will be used to fund “Cook For A Friend” as part of the RSVP Home Delivered Meals Program, and to pay for some of the farmer’s salaries. RSVP Philadelphia provides some 70,000 meals annually to seniors in Philadelphia, Bucks and Montgomery Counties who cannot shop or cook for themselves.
