Huntington Valley-Churchville Rotary’s next Rett Syndrome golf outing is scheduled for Monday, May 13 at Five Ponds, 1225 Street Road, Warminster.
Rett Syndrome is a rare, non-inherited genetic postnatal neurological disorder that occurs almost exclusively in girls and leads to severe impairments. The Rotary is committed to a cure. Exciting clinical trials for gene-based therapies begin this year.
On April 4, a check for $28,464 from last year’s golf outing proceeds was presented to Tim Freeman (center), executive director of Rett Syndrome Research Trust. Pictured on either side are Marianne and Mark Kozub, golf outing chairs.
