Bucks County Community College invites the public to its Healthcare Career Fair on Monday, April 29, from 1 to 3 p.m. on the Newtown campus.
The event, hosted by the college’s Center for Student Employment and Career Development, is free and open to students, alumni, and community members interested in health-related careers. More than 80 employers from the area’s leading hospitals, long-term care facilities, and healthcare agencies will be represented.
There are more jobs in the healthcare industry than qualified candidates. Employers are particularly interested in hiring for positions such as nurse aides, RNs, LPNs, medical assistants, EKG/phlebotomists, healthcare IT, pharmacy technicians and more.
Those attending the fair will be able to meet directly with healthcare recruiters and network with other healthcare professionals. Attendees are encouraged to wear business attire and bring resumes.
Admission and parking are free. The Healthcare Career Fair takes place from 1 to 3 p.m. on Monday, April 29 in the Linksz Pavilion on the campus at 275 Swamp Road, Newtown.
