The St. Mary Medical Center Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery Program has announced its next information session for people interested in learning more about surgical options and finding out if bariatric surgery is the right choice.
“The information sessions teach patients about bariatric surgery, a life-changing treatment, at St. Mary,” said Keith A. Kreitz, MD, the program’s medical director and a board-certified bariatric surgeon. “While mandatory for all prospective bariatric patients, the information session provides patients with knowledge on the different procedures and who qualifies for surgery.”
The information sessions often help people develop a better understanding of what life will be like before, during and after the transformative surgery.
The session will meet on Wednesday, April 3 from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Medical Staff Office Conference Room at St. Mary Medical Center, 1201 Langhorne-Yardley Road, Langhorne. The conference room is located on the first floor by the parking garage at the rear of the St. Mary campus.
This session is free, but registration is required. To learn more, call 215–710–5711 or visit stmaryhealthcare.org/bariatrics
