High school students can learn what it takes to be a leader during workshops at the Epstein Campus at Lower Bucks in July andĀ August

Bucks County Community College is introducing leadership training for high school students this summer at the Epstein Campus at Lower Bucks in Bristol Township.
The workshops, each four days long, cover Innovative Leadership and Leadership in Action, according to associate professor KellyĀ Sell.
āThe immersive experience exposes high school students to the 21st-century skills that are imperative for students to succeed in their academic and career lives,ā said Sell, who will lead each workshop designed for rising high school sophomores andĀ juniors.
Innovative Leadership, which takes place July 15ā18, includes team building, listening to motivational speakers, meeting entrepreneurs, and a field trip. Leadership in Action, from Aug. 5ā8, focuses on solving real-world problems at a local level. Workshops include team building, meeting community leaders, and a fieldĀ trip.
Each workshop meets from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Thursday at the Gene and Marlene Epstein Campus at Lower Bucks, 1304 Veterans Highway, Bristol. Tuition for each workshop isĀ $295.
