Bucks invites public to hop on the bus to a variety of locales

The Trips and Travel Club is a convenient way to see New York City, Washington, D.C. and more

Bucks County Community College’s Trips and Travel Club invites the public to hop on the bus for a variety of day trips leaving from the Newtown Campus, 275 Swamp Road. Special rates are available for seniors 65 and older, and BCCC students with current ID. Tickets include transportation and museum admission when applicable.

Trips include the following:

  • Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island on Saturday, March 30 from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $55 for adults, $50 for students, seniors, alumni and employees. Go from bus to ferry to both islands to take in the origin stories of hundreds of thousands of Americans.
  • Washington, D.C. on Friday, April 5 from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets are $55 for adults, $50 for seniors, alumni and employees, and $25 for students. Take in museums, cherry blossoms, or galleries (whatever you choose) as the bus heads to our nation’s capital.
  • The Bronx Zoo on Wednesday, April 10 from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $55 for adults, $50 for seniors, alumni and employees, and $25 for students. Take in this award-winning zoo in the heart of the Bronx, New York.
  • Lower East Side Eating Tour on Friday, April 12 from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $75 for adults, $70 for seniors, alumni and employees, and $25 for students. From knishes to donuts to dumplings, there is something for everyone as attendees learn about the historical and cultural ways that food brought (and brings) this country together.
