White House Chef Tour returns to Silver Lake

Chef Guy Mitchell and Chief Petty Officer Michael “Woody” Raber are returning on Saturday, April 13 from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m., at Falls Manor Catering, 4010 New Falls Road, Bristol.

The White House chefs will demonstrate their culinary skills and entertain with stories from five former presidents, Camp David and the Pentagon. Ticket price includes a show by the chefs, buffet lunch, cash bar and opportunities to win prizes.

Guests can win one of four seats at the Chefs’ Table, where they will be able to taste the dishes the chefs prepare for the cooking demonstration — filet with demi-glace, Chilean sea bass, chicken marco polo, and a special surprise dessert.

Cost is $50 per person until March 25, and then $55. Tickets are only available in advance. Proceeds from this event benefit the nonprofit Friends of Silver Lake Nature Center.
