The Times
A series of four classes titled Nutrition Links at the Margaret R. Grundy Library, 680 Radcliffe St., Bristol, will welcome Penn State Extension’s Nutrition Education Advisor Darlene Holloman, who will discuss how to eat better for less.
Holloman incorporates learning with fun in the series beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, and continuing on April 3, April 17, and May 1.
Participants will learn how to eat healthy on a limited budget, plan low-cost meals that are fast and easy to make, learn to keep food safe to eat, and sample new healthy foods. Parents or caregivers of a child 19 and under, adults, and older adults who qualify for free or reduced school lunch, WIC, SNAP benefits, food pantry boxes/bags, and Pennsylvania Farmers Market Vouchers are eligible to participate in this free workshop series.
