All ages are welcome to compete on May 5, and applications are due April 19

The Northampton Day Committee is seeking applicants interested in competing in its Talent Show, which will be held Sunday, May 5 at 1:30 p.m. in the auditorium of Wrightstown Elementary School (former Richboro Middle School), 98 Upper Holland Road, Richboro. The contest is held rain or shine.
This is an open competition with no age restrictions, except that no bands will be competing. The deadline to enter is April 19, and only 20 applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
All performers are required to report to the stage area of the auditorium no later than 1:10 p.m. (20 minutes before show time). At check-in, contestants are given a schedule of appearances. Anyone not reporting at this time may forfeit their spot.
Prizes will be awarded as follows: First place will win $250; second place will win $150; third place will win $100; fourth place will win $75; fifth, sixth and seventh place will win $50 each. A trophy will also be presented to each of the seven winners.
Northampton Days Inc. reserves the right to reject any act that is felt to be inappropriate, and all contestants perform at their own risk.

Northampton Day is a family-friendly annual event sponsored by Northampton Days Inc. The day of festivities begins at 10 a.m. with a flag raising ceremony and concludes at 4 p.m. Activities include amusements, more than 125 vendors, food trucks, desserts, bands, strolling mummers, family games, prizes and entertainment.
