The public is invited to attend a presentation titled After the Myers: African Americans in Levittown, Pennsylvania; the Civil Rights Movement — 1966, presented by historian Amelia J. Wiggins in conjunction with African American Historical and Cultural Society of Bucks County.

Starting at noon on Saturday, March 16 at the Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library, 680 Radcliffe St., Bristol, Wiggins’ lecture will touch on local African American history as it pertains to Levittown, the Great Migration, workforce opportunities, veterans, civil rights, and the role of the NAACP organization. A Q&A session follows the lecture.
