On Sunday, March 3 at 3 p.m., the acclaimed Delaware Valley University Symphonic Band and Jazz Band will present an afternoon of music for winds, brass and percussion.

“From the majestic sounds of music from Richard Wagner’s opera ‘Die Meistersinger,’ to the excitement of Frank Ticheli’s contemporary masterpiece ‘Vesuvius’ and toe-tapping jazz classics, this concert is sure to wipe away the winter blues,” said Dr. Jack Schmidt, DelVal professor of music and chair of liberal arts.

The program will be held in the university’s Life Sciences Building auditorium, 700 E. Butler Ave., Doylestown. There is no charge for admission and guests do not need to register in advance.

For more information, contact Schmidt at [email protected] or 215–489–2233.
