The Times
On Sunday, March 3 at 3 p.m., the acclaimed Delaware Valley University Symphonic Band and Jazz Band will present an afternoon of music for winds, brass and percussion.
âFrom the majestic sounds of music from Richard Wagnerâs opera âDie Meistersinger,â to the excitement of Frank Ticheliâs contemporary masterpiece âVesuviusâ and toe-tapping jazz classics, this concert is sure to wipe away the winter blues,â said Dr. Jack Schmidt, DelVal professor of music and chair of liberal arts.
The program will be held in the universityâs Life Sciences Building auditorium, 700 E. Butler Ave., Doylestown. There is no charge for admission and guests do not need to register in advance.
