The U.S. Marshals Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force is seeking the public’s assistance in apprehending Marcus Williams.

On Jan. 9, Williams was indicted by the Eastern District of Pennsylvania for illegally prescribing opioids. In 2014, while being employed as a doctor for advanced urgent care in Philadelphia and Montgomeryville, Williams illegally prescribed more than 70 fraudulent prescriptions for pain medication. He is one of 13 indicted doctors and physicians assistants that were charged by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Williams is 60 years old, 6’0”, 190 pounds, hazel eyes, and a bald head. Williams also has a tattoo on the right wide of his neck. His last known address was in the 600 block of east Gay Street in West Chester.

“Mr. Williams is one of the last co-conspirators in this multi defendant indictment and we are hoping the public can assist us in bringing him into custody,” said supervisory deputy Robert Clark.

Investigators believe Williams may be homeless and has recently been frequenting Bensalem, Warrington and Warminster. Tips can be called into the U.S. Marshals Tipline at 1–866–865-TIPS.
