On Feb. 11, 2009, a lone gunman shot Eric Birnbaum execution style in the parking lot outside his Northampton law firm.
The well-liked attorney’s killing has now gone unsolved for a decade, and today investigators once again renew their call for the public’s help.
“We do not believe this killing was a random act. Someone out there has the information we need to find Mr. Birnbaum’s killer,” said first assistant district attorney Gregg D. Shore. “The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office and the Northampton Township Police Department remain committed to bringing justice in this case.”
To once more bring heightened awareness to the investigation, billboards throughout the Delaware Valley in the coming days and weeks will display Birnbaum’s photo and a tip line phone number. A reward for information in the case stands at $20,500.
Anyone with information about Birnbaum’s killing is urged to call the tip line at 215-546-TIPS, or email Northampton Township Police Lt. Charles Pinkerton at [email protected].
