On Wednesday, March 13, Cairn University, 200 Manor Ave., Langhorne, will host a guidance and school counselor professional development seminar, which will focus on networking, problem solving with practical case studies, and building on expertise in assisting students. The free event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This year’s keynote speakers are Adam Porcella and Lacey Sipla.
Porcella is a graduate of Geneva College and currently serves as the dean of students at Cairn. He has previously served as dean of students in a private school on the outskirts of Montgomery County, overseeing college guidance and behavioral work.
Sipla, a Cairn graduate, serves as the director of the Academic Resource Center, where she ensures that Cairn students receive the best quality of academic assistance as they develop into well-educated professionals.
