The public is invited to this second annual event at the Grundy Library on Feb. 9
The Times
Crafting is fun, relaxing and great for making social connections. While trying a new craft may be expensive, a great way to cut costs is to trade supplies, materials and tools.
The public is invited to the second annual Craft Supply Swap at the Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library, 680 Radcliffe St., Bristol next month. Donated craft supplies will be accepted on Thursday, Feb. 7 from 5 to 8 p.m., and on Friday, Feb. 8 from 1 to 4 p.m. With any donated craft supply, individuals receive a VIP ticket for early entrance the day of the swap, Saturday, Feb. 9. Doors open for VIP ticket holders at 10 a.m., and the general public at 10:30 a.m. It continues until 2 p.m., or until all supplies are gone. Snow date is Feb. 16.
Bags will be provided and any unclaimed supplies will be donated to charity. For more information, call 215–788–7891 or visit grundylibrary.org for a list of suggested craft supplies.
