The Jan. 29 event is the perfect time to make good on New Year’s resolutions
By 2025, home health aides will make up the largest percentage of the 2.3 million new healthcare workers needed to care for the aging population, according to CNN. Nurse’s aides are expected to be another profession with dramatic shortages in the coming years.
In Bucks County, healthcare employers are getting a jumpstart on the crunch for new employees by exhibiting in RecruitmentQueen’s fifth annual New Year Career Fair on Jan. 29. The new year is traditionally the time when more people are seeking new job opportunities, and when employers do the bulk of the year’s hiring.
In addition to healthcare, the job fair will feature more than 500 positions in a variety of fields, including financial services, customer service, clerical, administrative, food service and more.
Several dozen employers are expected to exhibit, including Friends Hospital, Horsham Clinic, TMA Bucks, Salute2Service, Traffic Plan, Pennwood Village, Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services and PA CareerLink.
Job seekers can make their New Year’s resolutions a reality by visiting the job fair and gaining one-on-one access to recruiters and other company representatives. Attendees should come dressed to impress in attire suitable for a job interview. It’s a good idea for job seekers to bring plenty of copies of their updated resume.
