Bucks County Community College is offering several opportunities for interested students to register for the spring semester.
Students may register through Tuesday, Jan. 22 in time for the start of 15-week classes Wednesday, Jan. 23. Registration for accelerated courses that begin Feb. 11 and March 25 is also available until the day before classes start.
Current students can complete the registration process online at bucks.edu/spring. Prospective students may apply online or in-person, and then drop in for placement testing at the Newtown Campus.
There will be academic advising and registration at the following times and locations: Tuesday, Jan. 15 from 1 to 7 p.m. at Upper Bucks Campus, One Hillendale Road, Perkasie; Wednesday, Jan. 16 from 1 to 7 p.m. at Epstein Campus at Lower Bucks, 1304 Veterans Highway, Bristol; and Thursday, Jan. 17 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Linksz Pavilion, 275 Swamp Road, Newtown. Additional time slots at Linksz include Friday, Jan. 18 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Tuesday, Jan. 22 from 1 to 9Â p.m.
More than 430 courses are available this spring. Nearly half are offered through Bucks Online, while several are available in a âhybridâ format, which is a combination of online learning and in-person meetings.
BCCC, an open-admission, public college that does not require SAT or ACT scores, offers more than 80 programs of study. Tuition is $150 a credit for Bucks County residents, and most credits transfer to four-year colleges and universities.
