New Hope’s newest gathering spot is open during a preview period prior to the grand opening on Feb. 10

The Deck Restaurant and Bar at Bucks County Playhouse is currently open for an extended preview period prior to an official grand opening on Sunday, Feb 10.
Attached to the back of the Playhouse and taking advantage of the building’s setting where the Aquetong Creek meets the Delaware River, The Deck is a 127-seat restaurant and bar with spectacular views of the river, waterfall, and landmark New Hope-Lambertville Bridge. Designed as a new gathering place for the entire community, The Deck offers gastropub fare and a full bar.
Under the direction of executive chef Rachel Brill, The Deck features modern twists on classic fare that is made from scratch, seasonally driven, and locally sourced. The centerpiece of the restaurant is a large, beautiful bar that features eight brews on tap, a selection of local IPAs, signature craft cocktails and an extensive wine list.
Every dollar spent at The Deck benefits the Playhouse’s nonprofit mission of providing professional theater productions and innovative arts education programming. The Deck is the final phase of Bridge Street Foundation’s renovations of The Playhouse and its revitalization plan for New Hope’s waterfront.
While The Deck Bar and Restaurant at Bucks County Playhouse is a welcome amenity for patrons attending performances at the theater, the restaurant is also designed for everyday dining by the broader community and visitors. The deck will offer lunch, dinner and late-night menus.
The hours for The Deck are Tuesdays from 5 to 10:30 p.m., Wednesdays and Thursdays from noon to 10:30 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 11 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. Reservations are available at PlayhouseDeck.com, BucksCountyPlayhouse.com, or by calling 267–270–2989.
