Did you ever want to learn how to create your own website? How about creating an app or a video game? The Southampton Free Library is offering a coding club on Tuesdays from 3:30 to 5 p.m. from Jan. 8-Feb. 12.
The Prenda Coding Club will allow participants to learn how to code websites, apps, games and more through self-paced, fun projects. The club is recommended for fourth-grade and up. Participants must be able to work without adult assistance on projects. The library invites participants to bring their own laptop if they wish to work independently. Laptops will be provided for shared use.
This is a walk-in program. The library will host a showcase in the spring where participants can show family and friends what they created.
For more information and to register, visit southamptonfreelibrary.org or call 215–322–1415. The library is located at 947 Street Road.
