On Sunday, Jan. 27 at 2 p.m. in the headquarters of the Bristol Cultural and Historical Foundation, 321 Cedar St., Bristol, Dr. Nina Haydel of the English department at Rider University will present the program “Sally Hemings & Thomas Jefferson: A Secret Love Story.”
This first-person presentation will offer different viewpoints on the long-debated and controversial history of the relationship between Hemings and Jefferson, and delve into Hemings’ genealogical background, her relationship with the Jefferson family and her experiences as a free woman in Paris.
