Enjoy a cave hunt, naturalist walk and more next month

Geode Cave Hunt will take place Jan. 12 and 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Enter the cave at CNC and see what treasure you can find. Guests can search for their very own Geode rock and crack it open. There’s no way of telling what you might have — crystal druzy or solid crystal. Participants can take home their treasures. Cost is $7 per person.
Nature Story Time will take place Jan. 19. Join CNC’s volunteer in the library for an hour of stories while enjoying a warm fire in the woodstove. Children must be accompanied by an adult. This event begins at 11 a.m. All children are free.
Winter Naturalist Walk will take place Jan. 20 at 2 p.m. Explore the changing seasons and see what you can find on a walk. Cost is $3 per person, members are free.
World of Weather will take place Jan. 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This fun-filled day features all kinds of activities and crafts about weather. Rooms will be transformed into different climate regions. Participants can visit a rainforest, desert and the tundra. Visit with animals that live in these regions. Make your own weather station. Cost is $4 for members, $6 for non-members. Children 3 and under are free.
Lenape Games will take place Jan. 27 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Learn the games the Lenape and other Woodland Indians would play. Many are still played today. Cost is $5.
