Galloway announces Toys for the YMCA drive

State Rep. John Galloway announced his Levittown office will again serve as a drop off location for this year’s Toys for the YMCA drive.

Now through Dec. 18, new and unwrapped toys, books, gloves, hats and scarves will be collected at the office during normal business hours. The items will be distributed through the YMCA to needy families, children and disabled adults in the area. The collection is part of the Lower Bucks Family YMCA and Ivins Outreach Center Giving Tree program, which shares gifts and food with local families in need during the holiday season.

“As the holidays approach, it’s important that we remember those among us who may be in need, so I’m proud that my staff and I are able to participate in this program,” said Galloway, D-Bucks. “Last year, these organizations fulfilled the wish lists of 887 children from 404 families. I’m always in awe of the generosity of our community and I look forward to another successful toy drive.”

Galloway’s office is at 8610 New Falls Road, Levittown. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, and 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Fridays. For more information, call 215–943–7206.
