Public Safety Luncheon
Bensalem Township’s Department of Public Safety is hosting a toy drive and luncheon on Saturday, Dec. 1 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Carrabba’s Italian Grill, 3210 Tillman Drive. Cost for adults is $10 and a new unwrapped toy or gift card. Children six and under are free with a new unwrapped toy or gift card. To purchase tickets in advance, call 215–633–3617.
For those unable to attend but would still like to donate a toy, drop off locations are at Bensalem Fire Rescue and Bensalem Police, 2400 Byberry Road; Bensalem EMS, 3800 Hulmeville Road; and Carrabba’s Italian Grill. All toys collected will be donated to needy families in Bensalem.
Letters to Santa
Bensalem’s Parks & Recreation Department is now gathering Letters to Santa from all of the children of Bensalem residents to send to the North Pole. Drop off your letters to the special mailbox located outside of the Parks & Rec office, or mail them to: Santa Claus, North Pole, ℅ Bensalem Parks & Recreation Department, 2400 Byberry Road, Bensalem, PA 19020.
Be sure to include your name, age and address and send them in by Dec. 9 so Santa has time to get back to you before his big trip around the world.
