Saturday Morning Bird Walks will take place Nov. 17 and 24 from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Enjoy a birding walk with Doug Filler. These events are free.

Animal Tracks and Scat will take place Saturday, Nov. 17 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Animals are all around, even when you don’t see them. Join SLNC as it searches for animal signs and clues that might tell who has been there. Be prepared for an adventure. Families and individuals of all ages are welcome. Cost is $2 per member, $3 per non-member.

‘Black Friday’ Escape Night Hike will take place Friday, Nov. 23 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tired of countless Black Fridays with too little sleep, too long lines, and too many people fighting over things they don’t need? This year, escape Black Friday and join SLNC for a special night on the Silver Lake after dark. A hike will begin at SLNC, continue to the Earthship and finish with a campfire and marshmallows. This event is inspired by REI’s #optoutside campaign. Cost is $8 per member, $10 per non-member.

Earthship Tour will take place Saturday, Nov. 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. This event is free.

Silver Lake Nature Center is located at 1306 Bath Road in Bristol. For more information and to register for events, visit SilverLakeNatureCenter.org or call 215–785–1177.
