Suicide claims the lives of almost 2,000 Pennsylvanians each year (according to latest statistics) — an average of five lives each day. Nationally, suicide is the third leading cause of death for youth ages 11–24, but in Bucks County, it’s the second leading cause of death for this age group. Learn how to help through three steps that can prevent suicide — question, persuade, refer.
