The Times
Maria Liberati, celebrity chef and Gourmand World Award-winning author, will be a special guest at the Bucks County Free Library Expo signing copies of books from her award-winning series The Basic Art of Italian Cooking.
Join Liberati at the Bensalem branch on Nov. 3 from 1 to 3 p.m. and the Doylestown branch on Nov. 10 from 1 to 3 p.m. She will share her love of food, culture and strong roots in Philadelphia, and bring tastes from her home in the mountains of central Italy.
Her philosophy mirrors that of Leonardo Da Vinci — “The art to simplicity is to create recipes that simply transform the freshest ingredients without changing their essential flavors. That is an art and cooking is art, a basic art.”
Bensalem Library is located at 3700 Hulmeville Road and Doylestown Library is at 150 S. Pine Street. Visit buckslib.org for more information.
