RSVP Philadelphia is hosting a “Painting With A Purpose” benefit to be held at Painting With A Twist, located at the Grant One Shopping Plaza, 9475 Roosevelt Boulevard in far Northeast Philadelphia on Sunday, Nov. 18 from 1 to 4 p.m. The public is invited to participate.
According to John Eskate, director of RSVP Philadelphia, “Everyone is invited to paint a simple landscape scene and it really doesn’t matter what art skills you possess. Come, relax and paint and enjoy the fun and camaraderie of it all.” Half of the proceeds will be donated to RSVP Philadelphia.
RSVP Philadelphia is a non-profit organization that engages adults 55-years and older in voluntary service using their skills, talents and experience to respond to community needs and calls for help.
Price, including all art supplies and light snacks and soft drinks will be $35 per person and anyone interested is being asked to reserve a place by Friday, Nov. 9 by calling 215–677–2097.
