Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, released a statement following the death of Ari Fuld, an American-Israeli who was stabbed, allegedly by a 17-year-old Palestinian terrorist.
“We grieve at the loss of Ari Fuld, an American-Israeli who was murdered by a Palestinian terrorist in the south of Jerusalem. Our prayers are with his family and his four children. As a defender of Israel, Ari relentlessly advocated for the safety and security of the Jewish people. May his heroic memory be a blessing for all of us.”
In March, Congress enacted the Taylor Force Act, which would cut certain aid programs to the Palestinian Authority until it ends payments to terrorists and their families. The Palestinian Authority maintains a fund to pay a monthly stipend to the families of Palestinians killed, injured or imprisoned for committing acts of terror against Israel. The program is known as “pay to slay.”
