College seeks next great short-fiction writer

Bucks County Community college is hosting its Short-Fiction Contest, which is open to all Bucks County residents over 18 and out of high school

Bucks County Community College is hosting its Short-Fiction Contest, which is open to all Bucks County residents over 18 and out of high school.

Submit one story up to 12 pages long that’s never been published, including in online formats, by noon on Oct. 25. Entries must be made online at bucks.edu/shortfictioncontest.

The final judge is author Elizabeth LaBan. Top prizes are $200, $100 and $50. The contest is not open to college employees. Winners will read at a public reception on Sunday, Dec. 2.
