On Sept. 29–30, more than 165 talented local artists, and artists from as far away as Florida and Colorado, will sell their own unique works at New Hope’s 25th Arts & Crafts Festival.
2018 Best of Show, Derek Mohr, will do antique-style tin-type photography, as various artists demonstrate in their tents. In addition, there will be a free children’s crafts tent, where kids can express their own artistry.
An entertainment tent will feature the smooth riffs of Joe Coonan’s MoodSwings, playing blues to rock on Saturday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Pianist/vocalist Lara K LEK will perform popular favorites on Saturday from 3 to 4:30 p.m. On Sunday from noon to 1:30 p.m., State Street Tribal Dance Studio, developed from world-wide folkloric movements and music, will perform, followed by Andrew Lobby from 2 to 3:30 p.m., who plays and sings folk music from the 60’s and 70’s.
Food tents and trucks will provide great eating options such as shrimp, angus burgers, Yakisoba noodles, jerk chicken, kielbasa and kraut, funnel cakes, gourmet grilled cheese, fried Oreos, kettle corn and more.
New Hope Arts & Crafts Festival is celebrating its 25th anniversary with drawings throughout the weekend for 25 pairs of Bucks County Playhouse tickets, as well as two “Best of New Hope” gift baskets, which include lodging, dining, spa and facial certificates, wine and chocolate, Playhouse show tickets, and other gifts and gift certificates from New Hope merchants.
