BuxMont Organic Gardeners will host a meeting on Oct. 8 at Churchville Nature Center, 501 Churchville Lane, beginning at 7:15 p.m.
The event will feature a program on garden ornaments. Hazel Downes, member of the Trevose Horticultural Society, will display dozens of whimsical and unique lawn and garden ornaments and explain how they are planned and created.
Members and the general public are invited to learn how they may decorate their vegetable and flower gardens. Items will be sold after the meeting for those who lack time or materials to create.
A meeting donation of $3 is requested from guests. There will be refreshments and time to share garden tips and stories after the program.
