Participate in the tagging and releasing of butterflies, campfires and more

Delaware River Canoe Trip from Kingwood to Bulls Island will take place Sept. 15. Cost is $25 for members, $30 for non-members. Fee includes canoes, paddles, preservers and experienced leadership by John Chalikian. Pre-registration required. Departure time is 7 a.m.

Bon Voyage Party will be on Sept. 16. After the closing of the butterfly house, CNC will be tagging and releasing the monarch butterflies. The house will open at 11 a.m. with the release taking place at 1 p.m. There will be cake, paw-paws, a bee hive demonstration and more. This event is free for members for $5 for non-members.

Autumnal Equinox Night Hike and Campfire will take place Sept. 22. Celebrate the first day of fall with CNC’s first campfire and hike of the season. Reservation required. The event begins at 7:30 p.m. Members are free, cost for non-members is $5.

Life Celebration in the Lenape Village will take place Sept. 23 from 2 to 4 p.m. This event is a gathering of friends and family to honor all those who are no longer with us. CNC will celebrate with music and social dancing. Bring your own drums or rattles if you have them. Members are free, cost for non-members is $8 per person ages 4 and up.
