From catchy radio jingles to winning the national Small Business Revolution contest, most everyone in Lower Bucks County has a memory of shopping or dining in Bristol Borough. The public is invited to an opening reception for Shopping & Dining in Bristol: Then & Now, a new exhibit at the Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library, 680 Radcliffe Street, on Friday, Oct. 5 at 6 p.m.
The exhibit highlights the history of small business in Bristol from the founding of the Borough to present day businesses and activities. Throughout the exhibit, visitors will view photographs, records, and memorabilia depicting the transformation of various types of business in Bristol over the years. The exhibit’s interactive features offer visitors the opportunity to reminisce about Bristol’s bustling past and celebrate in its renewed growth through today’s local businesses.
Registration is not required for this free, family-friendly event. The exhibition continues during regular library hours through Wednesday, Oct. 31.
