The retired Lower Southampton chief of police received his award at the Feasterville Business Association’s annual Frolic April 14

Wiegman Jr. (second from left) was all smiles after receiving the Feasterville Business Association’s 2018 Person of the Year Award in special ceremonies at the business association’s annual Frolic held at the Brookside Manor at Somerton Springs in Feasterville on April 14. Wiegman, the recently retired chief of police in Lower Southampton Township was singled out for special recognition for his service to the FBA and the community-at-large.
Pennsylvania State Representative Frank Farry (left) and State Senator Tommy Tomlinson (second from right) presented special commendations from the PA House and Senate to Wiegman. He was also awarded commendations from the Bucks County Commissioners, Governor Tom Wolf and the Lower Southampton Township Board of Supervisors.
Tyrrell (second from left) also presented the Past President’s Award to Karen Madotto (left) for her service to the professional business association at the Frolic. Madotto is the branch manager of the Penn Community Bank in Bensalem.
Now marking its 69th anniversary year, the mission of the FBA is to foster and encourage growth and progress for the betterment of the community.
