Four exciting excursions to New Jersey and New York plus an overnight trip to Charleston, South Carolina are upcoming for active adults in the new spring and summer series offered by the Travel with KleinLife program, which begins on Wednesday, April 18. Both KleinLife members and the general public are invited to ride along to any or all destinations, and each excursion will be escorted by KleinLife staff.

The series begins with a trip to Resorts Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey on Wednesday, April 18. In addition to $10 in slot dollars, the trip includes a show ticket to see vocalist Eric Kearns, as well as time to stroll the boardwalk and round-trip motor coach accommodations. Cost is $23 per person for members $28 per person for the general public. The registration deadline is March 2.

Next, it’s off to New York City to enjoy Rodgers and Hammerstein’s timeless musical Carousel, which is returning to Broadway for the first time in more than two decades. The excursion includes a front mezzanine seat at the Imperial Theatre and a deluxe round-trip motor coach ticket to and from the theatre. Lunch is on your own. Cost is $165 per person for members and $175 per person for the general public. Registration deadline is March 2.

A special professionally guided tour entitled “When Harlem Was Jewish” is planned for Thursday, May 3 in New York City. This unique tour will explore Harlem’s past and today’s culturally rich community. Stops will include the Old Broadway Synagogue, Harry Houdini’s home, Sholem Aleichem’s apartment building, Astor Row and the famous Apollo Theatre. Included will be a kosher lunch at the well-known Fine & Shapiro Deli. A round-trip deluxe motor coach ticket is included. Cost is $110 per person for members and $120 per person for the general public. Registration deadline is March 12.

The series continues with a trip to see the musical Halftime at the Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, New Jersey on Sunday, June 24. The trip includes both a show ticket and round-trip motor coach ticket. After the show, patrons will enjoy dinner on their own at the famous Harold’s Deli in Edison, New Jersey. Cost is $95 per person for members and $105 for the general public. Registration deadline is May 1.

A six-day, five-night deluxe motor coach trip to Charleston, South Carolina, “the gem of the South,” will be offered from Sunday, June 10 to Friday, June 15. Highlights include a guided tour of Charleston, a visit to the Magnolia Plantation, a cruise and visit to the Fort Sumter National Monument, admission to the Charleston Tea Plantation, including a narrated trolley tour, and a visit to the Old City Market. Cost is $925 per person for members (double occupancy) and $950 per person to the general public (double occupancy). A single supplement costs an additional $295. The deadline to submit a deposit is Feb. 26.
